This December the FMC Foundation of Caring awarded $93,500 to benefit children, families and individuals in our community. Your support makes this possible.
This past June, the Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring awarded $78,000 to benefit the communities we serve. This month, FMC Foundation of Caring invested $93,500 to help our local communities.
Red Apple School – $20,000
Educates developmentally disabled people, 18 years or older, through absorption of knowledge and experience, nurturing individual potential in any subject matter that enriches life-styles with survival, social or independent living skills.
Quantum Leap Farm – $11,000
Equine therapy program for children with emotional, physical and developmental challenges. The grant will provide quarterly Family Fun Days for special needs children.
Hope Youth Ranch – $10,000
Program for children living in residential group homes; fosters hope rather than despair, potential rather than limitation, healing rather than hurting, belonging rather than isolation and what the future can be rather that what it has been.
Centre for Women – $5,000
The Centre provides art therapy to underserved girls in Tampa along with hope, knowledge and peace of mind through services that promote independence and strengthens our community. Their mission is to promote physical, social and emotional health for girls, ages 5-14.
onbikes – $5,000
Positively impacts local children and families, and the communities in which they live, by providing economical transportation, a healthier lifestyle and improved self-esteem. The grant will be used to purchase bikes and helmets for low income children.
Pregnancy Care Center – $3,000
The Center offers love and practical help to pregnant women of all ages with a focus on encouraging healthy pregnancies in the east Pasco area. The Center can provide information on childbirth, delivery, and prenatal care.

The Gathering Place – $3,000
The Healing Arts Studio – $12,500
