On Saturday, January 26, 2013 FMC employees and family members volunteered at Quantum Leap Farm, by helping to host a Family Fun Day for special needs children. Activities included food and fun, such as horseback rides, pony painting, a hay rack ride, equestrian crafts and games. The FMC Foundation of Caring awarded Quantum Leap Farm a $7,000 grant to provide sponsorships and support four Family Fun Days during calendar year 2013. Quantum Leap Farm is a nationally recognized equestrian program designed specifically for disabled, injured and developmentally delayed children and adults.
Quantum Leap is a 501 ©(3) non-profit charitable organization that is able to provide these services only through the generous support of individuals and organizations like the FMC Foundation of Caring. All those attending had a great time and we look forward to three similar events to be scheduled throughout the coming year.
