Artists Bring New Creativity to Alpha House

FMC Foundation of Caring volunteers Stephanie Ong and Janeen Salzgeber met with Alpha House Executive Director Patricia Langford and staff to discuss creating a therapeutic art program for mothers at Alpha House.  The Foundation of Caring gave a grant to Alpha House earlier this year.  The art program is supplemental assistance to a quality non-profit.  Alpha House provides homeless mothers with infants and young children safe housing and the tools they need to become self-sufficient and responsible parents.  The art program will help build self esteem and confidence while creating a sense of pride in their accomplishments.

Stephanie and Janeen will help young mothers break abusive ties to their past and build positive futures for themselves and their children.  FMC Foundation of Caring is happy to support and partner with Alpha House.
