A Kid’s Place Receives $15,000 Grant

Darryl Benge,  FMC Foundation Board Member on December 17th presented  Virginia Johnson, A Kid’s Place CEO and Development staff Mary Berg and Suzette Armatas with a check for $15,000 from the FMC Foundation of Caring.

The grant was awarded to support the Siblings Connected Program operated by A Kid’s Place.  The program focuses on keeping brothers and sisters together who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or abandonment.

Benge, General Manager of  Amalie Arena, previously toured the program and was impressed with the agency’s mission and staff’s commitment to children.  FMC Foundation of Caring is proud to support A Kid’s Place.
